Associate Attorney

Devin Meepos is an associate attorney at The Bloom Firm and is admitted to practice law in the state of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She received her bachelor’s degree in sociology at Boston University graduating cum laude and received her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School where she was one of the finalists in the intramural Moot Court Competition for Best Brief Writer and Oralist.

While earning her law degree, Devin served as an executive board editor of the Law Review where her law review article was published on the topic of government regulation of private affairs. She participated in externships related to child welfare and she was a member of the Women’s Law Association.

Since graduation, Devin’s legal focus has been on achieving justice for victims of abuse, harassment and discrimination. She served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Amy Pellman in Juvenile Dependency Court and was a post-graduate fellow at the Alliance for Children’s Rights winning back pay for clients in administrative hearings. For six years she served as a trial attorney representing foster children and defending parents in their custody battles regarding allegations of abuse, neglect and domestic violence.

Devin is involved with charitable giving to foster families. She is a 4th generation California resident and loves being outdoors doing any activity that involves the ocean and mountains.
