Alyson Decker, Esq
Alyson Decker is an experienced and well rounded litigator having practiced in both state and federal courts across the country. She handles a wide variety of cases including complex civil and business litigation, antitrust, employment litigation, entertainment litigation, class actions, appellate cases, trade secret litigation, complex dissolution and family law matters, domestic violence proceedings, right to publicity cases, and breach of contract actions. Some examples of her past successes include preparing all the briefing for a successful demurrer granted without leave to amend and an opposition to a motion to stay in a case involving two well-known toy companies and allegations of fraudulent transfers, preparing all the briefing for a successful opposition to a demurrer in a case involving a popular “judge” television show, and obtaining a favorable settlement agreement of $3.5 million for retired NFL players in a class action legal malpractice case after briefing and oral argument had been completed before the Ninth Circuit. She also has experience working as a private mediator.
In recognition of her work, Alyson has been named a Rising Star by the Super Lawyers Magazine, an honor that recognizes only 2.5% of attorneys in California for attaining a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement, in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. And in 2013 Alyson received a commendation for her outstanding legal prowess from the City of Lancaster. She has also been published on numerous occasions in the Daily Journal.
Alyson graduated in 2007 from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and was the Managing Editor of the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal during her last year of law school. Prior to attaining her law degree, Alyson graduated magna cum laude from Brandeis University, where she spent her junior year abroad at the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
Alyson spends her free time traveling around the world with her husband, watching football, running, and playing roller derby.
